Michele’s Success Tips
Start using Leading Questions to keeps you moving down the positive path.
You have this amazing power to ask better questions. Every thought begins with a question. You have a problem-solving-mind. It will endeavor to solve any problem you throw its way. You can center your questions around health, or whatever you most desire: love, kindness, abundance, joy, strength, or relationship.
You can ask these questions in the shower. Ask in rounds of three for each question. Start each round of questions with:
How can I …?
What will I do that…?
Wouldn’t it be great if…?
Sprinkling Positive Speech helps your subconscious focus on realizing better outcomes.
You can begin going in a new direction. You are the one who can make all the difference. Rediscover the power of your focus. You have a choice: you can choose to hurt or heal your body by the way you speak to yourself and how you see yourself. Trust that somewhere within you, you are already whole, already healed. Know this. Stake your claim; you have a right to health. The first step is to stop being so hard on yourself. You have done the best you could with what you had. Now you have options and you know it.
Flip Your Script and stop your negative story and reprogram yourself for success.
You move your energy when you decide not to perceive pain in a hard fact, but instead see an opportunity to grow. Pain in life is inevitable. We all lose loved ones. Ultimately, we will all die. Suffering in life is a choice you make when you describe the pain of now or the uncertainty of your future to yourself repeatedly. Suffering and pain therefore continue to be manifest in your life. When you tell yourself the story of the pain you feel, the description you create is more than just the facts and here’s where you create the gory details. No more! Intend good health and peace for yourself: You are able to take action and face fears.

Jory Fisher: “Perseverance”
November 15, 2010 by Jory · 5 Comments
Sometimes it’s hard to keep going, isn’t it? Or even to GET going. Maybe you’re not feeling particularly appreciated today. Maybe the road in front of you seems sooooooo long. Maybe you’ve suffered a severe setback. How will you recharge your batteries?
My dear father used to “wind me up.” He’d gently twist his hand in the middle of my back as if he were winding up our Grandfather Clock. “You can do it, Jory. You can do it.” This from a man who was born on a donkey farm in Oxford, Alabama, yet rose to the rank of Commodore, Service Force Sixth Fleet in the United States Navy. He knew what he was talking about!
I’ll never forget how miserable I felt after failing the Virginia bar exam. “Just get back on that horse again, Jory. You can do it.” “I don’t even want to see that horse again, much less get back up on it!” I tear up just thinking about my spirited response. Dad passed away in 1999, but his unending belief in me and his sweet words of encouragement spur me on even now. (He was right. I got back up on that horse; studied arduously for three more long, boring months; and passed with flying colors. Deed done. With prayer and perseverance.)
The Egyptian Pyramids. The Roman Coliseum. Perseverance. Abraham Lincoln. Martin Luther King, Jr. Perseverance. Nelson Mandela. Mahatma Gandhi. Perseverance. Dorothy Day. Susan B. Anthony. Perseverance. The Little Engine that Could. The Tortoise and the Hare. Perseverance. Helen Keller. Anne Sullivan. Perseverance. The Chilean Miners and their Rescuers. Perseverance.
We have many awe-inspiring stories to en-courage us when the going gets tough. To uplift us. To motivate us. And, thankfully, most of us have people in our lives who believe in us even when we’re full of doubt and despair.
Who winds YOU up when you need it most? How do you persevere???
Warmly,

Alice’s Coaching Suggestion
As we eat our meals during the upcoming week, Alice suggests that we pay attention to one thing: at what point do we start to become full? She says in her interview with Beth and me that we don’t have choices unless we’re conscious about what we’re thinking or doing. Noticing when we’re transitioning from satisfied to full, and noticing what we’re thinking and feeling as that occurs, will help us have choices about our lifestyle.
Alice’s Quote for the Day
“The secret to successfully getting a body that feels great is not about being good but doing what feels good.”
